Despite the tears
\nDespite our fears
\nDespite the pain we feel
\nIceland keeps its relentless
\nMurdering spree
\nIts very real<\/p>\n
A millionaire
\nWho is so aware
\nDecided he would kill
\nEndangered fin whales
\nBecause he could
\nTheir blood he wants to spill<\/p>\n
And it not because he is hungry
\nNor Iceland needs to eat
\nIts because he is making money.
\nfor him its one big treat<\/p>\n
His country is selling whale watching
\nPackages
\nTo tourists far away
\nEthics went out the window
\nApparently the day<\/p>\n
They came into being
\nFor endangered fin whales do
\nCut up rather easily
\nAnd make profit
\nEasily too<\/p>\n
They ship them off to Japan
\nWe hear
\nBoxes at a time
\nAnd this poem I have written
\nFor the whales
\nNot for the slime<\/p>\n
Who catches and who murders them
\nThe ships called HVALUR 9
\nTwo ships ply the waters
\nFor the japanese to dine<\/p>\n
