Its humiliating to watch this
\nA horse stands in the now
\nA child beside him probably
\nLacks humility and how
\nTo act with what is clearly
\nA horse thats felt the wrath
\nThis is not an isolated case
\nAnd for me we see a path<\/p>\n
That should see a beginning
\nOne hopes so anyway
\nThats if the child is up for it
\nShe might be prepared to pay
\nHer respects and realise
\nThe need for her to be
\nA little more obsequious
\nWhich I think we all agree<\/p>\n
It is rather a harsh lesson
\nFor a child to learn
\nBut respect should not have to be earned
\nAnd Abuse makes me concerned
\nPerhaps the horse was teaching
\nThe human child and she
\nShould appreciate the lesson
\nAnd learn from it and be<\/p>\n
A better person from this
\nI say this cagily
\nPerhaps she will run to her parents
\nAnd the horse well just might be
\nSeen in, a well unfair light
\nAnimals tend to be
\nVictims clearly always
\nThe superiority<\/p>\n
Of humans, clearly can control
\nA situation but we
\nKnow this horse has taken quite
\nA hammering for me
\nHopefully a lesson learned
\nWill see a fairer deal
\nDeveloping well that is my hope
\nBut whatever does reveal<\/p>\n
It isn’t just with animals
\nThe irreverance around
\nThe elderly, some parents
\nThemselves, sadly I have found
\nDisrespect is growing
\nAnd impoliteness too
\nPeople need to wake up a bit
\nAnd be courteous and true<\/p>\n
At least respect the animals
\nThey were not put here to be
\nAbused and children have no right
\nTo assume that role, for me
\nThe child was very fortunate
\nThe horse took umbrage to
\nBeing given a hard time
\nAnd became a teacher who<\/p>\n
Hopefully helped her to realise
\nAnd learn<\/p>\n
But it might be in the absence of the true picture
