In many ways so many have reached an impasse
\nAncestors became the forgotten past
\nWhat is seen as corporatocracy
\nThat has no reciprocity
\nThat really is in conflict
\nAn aghast
\nWe stand together some now at the crossroads
\nDisharmony and factiousness appear
\nEspecially those of us with indigenous leanings
\nIn conflict with society who fear<\/p>\n
As more and more transgress away from Nature
\nThe animal tribes are slaughtered everywhere
\nHabitat loss is part of the new enlightenment
\nContentiousness is borne out by despair
\nThe church ofcourse looks down on cultural system
\nChallenging the pagans paths away
\nSubmitting to the mother who is Nature
\nThe temple of the forest so to say<\/p>\n
The otherwordly spirits that do manifest
\nCloser to the earth and to the sky
\nIn tune with natural phenomena
\nWith the magick of each moment
\nWith ancient craftes apparent
\nThe sabatts and really why<\/p>\n
Ancestors play a part in how we are
\nand what we feel
\nThey were our true footprint
\nFor us they are real
\nRespect borne out of ages
\nA need to occupy
\nOur senses and our deepest thoughts
\nA sublimity from high<\/p>\n
The sage the wise ones cometh
\nAnd why not I ask of thee
\nMysticism and heritage
\nAnd where we need to be
\nClose to the sod beneath our soles
\nIn the forests close to trees
\nFinding our feet our reality
\nWith the majesty of ease<\/p>\n
We are all indigenous
\nOf somewhere and we be
\nMindful of the various paths
\nWe come upon to free
\nThe outcome of the naturalness
\nWe grew up with and find
\nTrees torn down and concrete
\nAnd thoughts that dull our mind<\/p>\n
We are drawn into a habitual maze
\nA fog of weaponry
\nOf mind control and wifi and
\nAnd soulless infamy
\nThe countryside we live with
\nHow truthfully we feel
\nThe loving and the caring
\nAnd the sharing which is real<\/p>\n
I understand the need
\nFor fighting shy of being dumbed
\nDown into insignificance
\nTo again take on the crown
\nOf nature and its spirit
\nThe invigoration there
\nOf rising from the dark morass
\nAnd again being aware<\/p>\n
Of The old crafte and the natural ways
\nThe rapture of before
\nThe duty of commitment
\nAscribable to the core
\nThe simple objectivity
\neach sapling and the might
\nThe wonderment of being
