{"id":3751,"date":"2012-11-04T07:52:13","date_gmt":"2012-11-04T07:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=3751"},"modified":"2012-11-04T07:59:31","modified_gmt":"2012-11-04T07:59:31","slug":"the-veggie-planet-41-jalan-melaka-reya-tel-06-2922818","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2012\/11\/the-veggie-planet-41-jalan-melaka-reya-tel-06-2922818\/","title":{"rendered":"The Veggie Planet 41 Jalan Melaka Reya  Tel 06-2922818"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recently extended Veggie Planet<br \/>\nat Melaka Reya<br \/>\nits a place, to go<br \/>\nreally attentive staff<br \/>\nthere to look after you<br \/>\nand the food is made with love<br \/>\nand you soon know<br \/>\nI had the ramen soup<br \/>\na vegan laksa<br \/>\nample, and a tastebuds<br \/>\nParadise<br \/>\nthe lemongrass the chilli&#8217;s<br \/>\nthe fabulously fresh spices<br \/>\nI mean to say<br \/>\nits very very nice<br \/>\nThey call it Nyonya Curry<br \/>\nyou don&#8217;t eat it in a hurry<br \/>\nyou savour every mouthful<br \/>\nand imbibe<br \/>\na glass of fresh rose tea<br \/>\nwhich did so much for me<br \/>\nreally it is hard<br \/>\nto now describe<br \/>\nthe blends of spice<br \/>\nthe subtlety aforethought<br \/>\nthis dish alone<br \/>\nit is artistry and will<br \/>\nconjure up such wonders<br \/>\nas you soak up on its pleasures<br \/>\nI then tried the dumpling soup<br \/>\nand let it spill<br \/>\ndown my throat<br \/>\nagain enormous subtlety<br \/>\ntofu sheets and mushrooms<br \/>\nin a bowl<br \/>\ngenuinely well prepared<br \/>\nfor certain let me tell you<br \/>\njust a peaceful kind of music for the soul<br \/>\nand all the while the music<br \/>\nin the background<br \/>\nsoftly sways the mind<br \/>\nand heart, as you<br \/>\nprepare to taste the egg free<br \/>\nfresh spring rolls<br \/>\npacked full of  those special treats<br \/>\nthat make the flavour poles<br \/>\napart from any previous spring<br \/>\nrolls you might have had before<br \/>\nVeggie Planet&#8217;s food is really<br \/>\nout of this world, for sure<br \/>\nDesserts are a bit limited<br \/>\nbut to round it off<br \/>\nI spied<br \/>\nRed bean soup with Black rice<br \/>\nand pandan deep inside<br \/>\nginger and brown sugar<br \/>\nI was crying by this time<br \/>\novercome by the chilli, the pandan<br \/>\nand the lime<\/p>\n<p>My total Bill was 30.70 ringgit<br \/>\nand I was served by a charming trainee<\/p>\n<p>finally I was taken back to my hotel<br \/>\nby one of the ladies who was coming to work<br \/>\nwho asked her husband to drop me back to the Holiday Inn<br \/>\nwhat a service what a wonderful breakfast\/lunch I had just<br \/>\nenjoyed.
