Japan has got to change its tune on whaling
\nPainting RESEARCH, on whalers doesn’t cut
\nThe ice with any sane soul blooming anywhere
\nThe Southern Ocean Sanctuary stays shut!
\nSending whaling ships into that area
\nIs a devilishly foolish thing to do
\nWhales must not be murdered its a dirty evil game
\nAnd one that no one wants now, only you
\nEating whales is getting very dangerous
\nTheyre loaded now with chemicals galore
\nPcb’s and Mercury, carcingenic every one
\nit really is a most horrific storeThey have brains 7 times the size of anyone
\nOf us, which means of course their intelligence is high
\nSophisticates in communication with a vast inbuilt technology
\nAnd to use harpoons and listen to them die
\nIs a vile and sick deliberate misdemeanor
\nIts a waste of all their energy and power
\nThose factory ships are inhumane and pointless
\nslaughtering, regardless every hour.<\/p>\n

Sea Shepherd captained by the brave Paul Watson
\nWho takes it on himself to sail the seas
\nProtecting whales and Dolphins and more creatures
\nAnd December sees him chase the japanese
\nInto the Southern Ocean off Antartica
\nMonstrous waves and Icebergs all the way
\nStorms that slow a vessle down considerably
\nAnd all aong a cat and mouse display<\/p>\n

The skull and crossbones marks them out as pirates
\nThey wear their courage on their sleeves for we
\nCan see the dangers beckoning this valiant
\nlittle crew
\nWho put themselves in harms way for thats all they can do
\nTo try and stop the harpoon, being fired but often still
\nThey fire the great harpoon over our heads
\nand watch blood spill
\nOut of the poor creatures, often from its spout
\nThe agony personified now witnessed without doubt
\nThe poor thing then dies slowly pumping out its blood
\nand is dragged on up into the ship drowning in a flood
\nOf its own making lac of air and blood creates a place
\nWhere something of this magnitude should never ever face
\nUtter gruesome agony as a great spirit doth die
\nTo be sold for next to nothing back in Tokyo
\nbut why?
\nWhat makes the Japanese continue doing this
\nThey realise the flesh is very poor
\nThey know its laden with some horrid chemicals
\nWith each years catch thats loaded, more and more
\nBut still under the guise of so called RESEARCH
\nThey hunt our precious earthlings down and kill
\nAnd if it were not for the Captain and his just amazing crew
\nhundreds more would have perished, yes the chill
\nA Wind of terror blows across the icy blue
\nGod help them such creations killed now in full view
\nListening to their death cries that carry miles away
\nThe effect on those who hear them, each dark and dismal day
\nAnd When the ships are close and then remarkably one whalng, and one protesting
\nWhere that s when the climes
\nare freezing, where there’s waves which come a crashing down
\nThese you know are very testing times<\/p>\n

Devine wind seems to me to be most apt in this regard
\nWhen Inflatables take on the ships and they never drop their guard
\nAnd so frost flying everywhere and icicles and spray
\nSea Sheherds small flotilla hopes to frighten them away<\/p>\n

Water cannon trained on you, bolts thrown and all sorts
\nThe ships both rolling violently what comes into one’s thoughts
\nIs ending in the water means death will surely be
\nThe only outcome possible so we hang definately
\nas a harpoon thuds into its prey out there in the sea
\nAnd a fountain of brine and blood shoot forth
\na death knell so clearly<\/p>\n

The radio’s are buzzing, the hoses how they spray
\nBobbing ever closer, and there’s contact right away
\nA crunching horrid grating sound that promises far more, and delivers a grinding omen but I’m not exactly sure
\nAs to what we can do, apparently its quite slight
\nso we carry on regardless no we won’t give up our fight.<\/p>\n

The Japanese have promised a patrol boat
\nto protect
\nSea Shepherd says no matter he wll still elect
\nTo position his craft on the side where the whales would have to be
\nPulled up to be butchered from the beautiful blue sea<\/p>\n

And this means confrontation and I say rightly so
\nThe pirates have to win out there
\nFor us activists do grow
\nWe need to support them more of course
\ngive what we can afford
\nFor they are clearly up against it

What Japan is doing over whaling is totally immoral it looks at the loophole on Scientific research and exploits that to kill its quota of whales for eating.These cetaceans are loaded with mercury and PCB’s fire retardents and all manner of toxic chemicals but the Japanese insist on feeding it through the school’s programme (Minamata Disease here we come again) SOON!
