\nKidnapping a baby calf, a child

\nCarried by a mother for nine long months

\nShe could feed it and could care
\nBut the farmer had other ideas

He was a dairy farmer he loved his poor cows so

\nHe didnt want to know
\nThe calf was about his milk supply
\nSo the calf just had to go
\nFor rennet or for pet food
\nBut the mother loved him so<\/p>\n
And so followed at a pace behind
\nUntil her heart gave flight
\nShe was old and tired and spent
\nShe’d been tortured alright
\nThe butcher and the farmer
\nTwo oafs I have to say
\nSee pound notes in the bank account
\nThats all sadly the way<\/p>\n
Years ago it was thistles
\nWild plants of the field
\nThat created all the rennin
\nTo give cheese better yield
\nBut using baby calves for that
\nSome sick sod realised
\nTheir stomach lining was adequate
\nAnd so for that was prized<\/p>\n
Rennet later veal thats tortured babies
\nFed on slops
\nDenied the milk of their mother
\nWho is then just seen as chops
\nAnd legs and steaks and joints of meat
\nNot a living breathing soul
\nWho farts more methane into the air
\nThan the oil barons and coal<\/p>\n

\nIs someone has to do
\nThe work whilst there are carnivores
\nAnd the money is good too
\nSo they work with the slaughterhouses
\nCut up bodies fast and sell
\nTrillions of soulful animals
\nThat infact enter our hell<\/p>\n
