An ancestral home
\nWhere wonderment
\nAnd countryside expertise
\nGenerates a home of homes
\nWhere brocks can carefully ease
\nTheir bodies
\nThrough dug tunnels
\nIn sandy soil or clay
\nOn slopes or hillsides
\nClose to woodland
\nTo find some peace and quiet
\nAll day<\/p>\n
Laying traps for any reason
\nIs contemptuous and wrong
\nIn the countryside where wildness
\nAnd survival does belong
\nWhere respect is keenly followed
\nIts saddening to see
\nHunt masters laying traps
\nWhere badger families be<\/p>\n
Unworthiness of being
\nPitiability
\nand a lack of understanding
\nIs insulting actually
\nCountrymen should have scruples
\nCountryman should care
\nCountenance the wild beasts
\nThat actually do share<\/p>\n
Not take on an artfulness
\nAnd spivvery of old
\nWith a dose of double dealing
\nAnd betrayal that is rolled
\nUp in pure chicanery
\nFor want of a better word
\nThe treachery of creating fear
\nFor clearly that occurred<\/p>\n
Offering wild souls peanuts
\nReturning hopefully
\nPossibly an ego trip
\nSo saddening to me
\nThe sanctity of wildness
\nIn peril thanks to you
\nA man who screams integrity
\nWhen iniquity is true<\/p>\n
A hunter of the innocent
\nThose of the crimson brush
\nImmaculate and undefiled
\nImpeccably a rush
\nOf fear is generated
\nAs the hounds begin to run
\nAs the hunter pipes his clarion
\nAt his sinning in the sun<\/p>\n
Transgressing from legality
\nInto the realms of sin
\nShamefaced masked up bounders
\nWhose case is wearing thin
\nNo better than the quislings
\nFelons actually
\nWho all pretend they are men of class
\nWith their dark morality<\/p>\n
The badger thankfully got away
\nKarma on his side
\nFaultless in so many ways
