\nWho really ought to know
\nReally there are no loopholes
\nUnlawfulness is that
\nBlue whales were protected

Recently a thirty footer
\nWas hunted and was brought
\nBack to iceland to be processed
\nThe felony was caught
\nOn camera the whale meat
\nWas bound for old japan
\nWho do catch their own blue whales
\nDespite a world wide ban<\/p>\n
Japan Iceland and Norway
\nAre pariahs and they ought
\nTo be reported to all tourists
\nThat their insolence has caught
\nUp with them the people
\nWant protection for the whales
\nThey pay to go and see them
\nSo murdering them fails<\/p>\n
On all counts thats for certain
\nEndangered as they are
\nThere is no legitimacy
\nTo harpoon and to scar
\nWhat is the massive miracle
\nOf creation everywhere
\nAnd to murder them and process them
\nIt encourages despair<\/p>\n
They are now riddled with plastics
\nWith mercury galore
\nWith PCB’s and fire retardents
\nAnd a whole lot more
\nIn reality they are toxic waste
\nIn the body of the whale
\nSuffering like crazy
\nFrom their great heads to their tail<\/p>\n
Japan Norway and Iceland
\nAre not starving anymore
\nLiving in a time warp
\nNor in the throes of war
\nAbandoning all decency
\nBeing self- indulgent they
\nShould spare these beautiful creatures
\npet foods are not the way<\/p>\n
The world should be abstaining
\nA lot more self control
\nBesides the world has stopped all this
\nIts not good for the soul
\nThe food is never spiritual
\nIts causative of pain
\nRepent just show compunction
\nFor so many the disdain<\/p>\n
Zen the way of being
\nThe philosophy of mind
\nDeliberative and reflective
\nLets try to unwind
\nEnlightenment requires deep thought
\nThe visionaries of old
\nContemplating greater things
\nThan really what you have sold<\/p>\n
The chopped up processed bodies
\nThe blubber and the meat
\nThe life force all those miracles
\nThat were wholly complete
\nEco ethic a resource giving back so much
\nAn integral part of the biosphere
\nThat recognises touch
\nWasting them on shipments
\nTo Japan what do they do
\nThe japanese are sick and tired
\nOf whale meat very few
\nEat it they too show respect
\nTo the Wider world
\nand the whale killing pariahs
\nNow they should be hurled<\/p>\n
Onto the world stage
\nSo that every tourist deciding to go
\nTo one those countries is made aware
