\nOf understanding nature
\nAnd what its all here for
\nOf making ones own weaponry
\nAnd squaring up to be
\nEqual to the foe out there

For them it is subsistence
\nThe hunter gatherer who
\nNeeds to feed his family
\nA perfectly normal view
\nHe who walks in ways of wisdom
\nWho makes his pipes and spears
\nFurnished by the forest
\nAnd it happens it appears<\/p>\n
On a similar principle to
\nThe animal carnivore
\nWho will take a sick or injured soul
\nThats hunting in the raw
\nIts utilizing every aspect
\nFlesh teeth bones and fur
\nIts showing respect to Nature
\nIts how all of us were<\/p>\n
As far as canned and trophy hunting
\nSome might call it sport
\nThese intrepid souls shop at the malls
\nAnd drive four by fours
\nThe thought
\nIs not to hunt the injured
\nNot to hunt the lame
\nBut to go out for the biggest
\nAnd the Strongest yes the same<\/p>\n
Its a business it involves so many
\nOutfitters galore
\nGun shops and ammunition
\nAnd a whole lot more
\nTons of paraphanalia
\nSafari clubs who will
\nPublish hit lists and taxidermy services
\nUntil<\/p>\n
The cows come home, but seldom do
\nHides and bows and lead
\nShot thats very toxic
\nPoisonous that said
\nThey fire their shot and pellets
\nInto souls some eat
\nLead poisoning is rampant
\nAmong the true elite<\/p>\n
The poverty with them
\nIs of their spirit
\nThere is nothing hand to mouth
\nBy their regime
\nThey fill their freezers
\nFrom the supermarkets
\nfrozen counters
\nvagrants clearly who
\nDisrespect the outdoor
\nEquilibrium
\nCompared to the indigenous

They talk up conservation

\nHow they share a distribution

\nThey pay the hunting clubs
\nTo destroy the jungle clan
\nNo more than zoos and petting farms

Who might have been a farmer

\nHow he could pull so much wool over hunters

\nAnimals in cages and in enclosures

When the orders are in and the hunters arrive
\nThats when the guides emerge
\nAnd magically find the very animal
\nJust there on the verge
\nAnd it isnt even frightened
\nIt will not run away
\nIt doesn’t expect to be shot of course
\nIt doesn’t expect to pay<\/p>\n
With its life, this isn’t hunting
\nThis is the murder trade
\njust another wicked racket
\nWhich selfishly has been laid
\nIn front of the new age hunter
\nWith all his fancy gear
\nWho selects the kill he is after
\nThat is guaranteed to appear<\/p>\n
A trophy service available
\nIts all above board here
\nIts shamefulness and villainy
\nIts very very clear
\nThe animals are disregarded
\nThey are not wild at all
\nThey were always captors
\nWaiting for you to call<\/p>\n
There are no finer feelings
\nNo troth no faithfulness
\nThere is no court of honour
\nNo constancy no less
