\nFulfilment was the goal today

\nHe feels a certain blessedness
\nWhich seemingly does send
\nThe King of Beasts to a heaven

A hunter and a companion
\nStalk their wily foe
\nExhausted the arena bare
\nA battlefield we know
\nAroused by animation
\nAnd a nonchalalance to feel
\nAnd unconcern of suffering
\nAnd a callousness and zeal<\/p>\n
The first shot just awakens
\nUnceremoniously
\nThe ebulience of the bullet
\nThat hit home painfully
\nThe second shot that followed
\nThe life clock broken by
\nThe final confrontation
\nAnd the third shot
\nSaw him die<\/p>\n
Each of us who witnessed this
\nThis squandering of life
\nConspicuous consumption
\nRelentlessly the strife
\nInflames our wild emotions
\nOf the trigger hunting scum
\nThe trophy hunting variant
\nWhose just thrown a tantrum<\/p>\n
