\nThis form of slaughter will be at an end
\nGOVE Ought to think about what is insanity
\nThe untruths they tell and the message they send
\nConcocting their stories to increase the profit
\nAnd turn their blind eyes to the suffering here
\nIt leaves me uneasy for what is iniquitous
\nShameful and distressing, now that is clear<\/p>\n
With balance sheet budgets and targets a plenty
\nSales figures these are live and feeling souls
\nSuffering terribly in darkly abattoirs
\nAt the hands of the operatives whose wretched roles
\nMalign them its nauseous revolting and cursed
\nEach noble hog a miracle beast
\nEternal damnation thats their salvation
\nThrown on your barbie completing your feast<\/p>\n
Such sorrow such sadness and utter madness
\nHyperventilation yes moments before
\nThe CO2 gets them tormented and anguished
\nFighting snd biting in their very own war
\nAnd DEFRA and Gove they take home their bacon
\nThey scoff their spareribs and they think nothing more
\nPleasure and painfulness in equal numbers
\nAnd the MEAT TRADE all they want is just to kill more<\/p>\n

\n975 million broiler chickens
\n40 million spent hens thats females so sick after laying thousands of eggs
\n2.6 million cattle
\n4.5 billion fish
\n2.6 billion shellfish<\/p>\n
8 BILLION slaughters a year
\nJust for the UK population<\/p>\n
