\nThe conscience of the people
\nThey can just be burned

\nFight to protect the environment

Arrogance and ignorance
\nAre diseases of today
\nThe corporatocracy suffers
\nThe communities though pay

\nThe environment ofcourse
\nThe way of life for future generations

Of all things, that are natural
\nTaken for granted yes
\nBut without the true essentials
\nWe all are in a mess
\nEnergy transfer partners
\nExploit their power and they
\nAre into building pipelines
\nThat lead onto dismay<\/p>\n
And so the Bayou Bridge Pipeline
\nAnd Lousiana’s spread
\nThe Atchafalya basin
\nSo they push ahead
\n162 miles and its now underway
\nAt the southern end of the
\nDAkota access pipeline
\nAnd today<\/p>\n
Despite a judge remarking
\nThey failed to consider that
\nCommunities would suffer
\nThey refused to smell that rat
\nThey carry on regardless
\nIts about the Bakken Crude
\nFrom North Dakota to
\nST James Parish
\nThat is all thats viewed<\/p>\n
And onto the gulf terminals
\nIts profit for the few
\nThe big boys they make ots of noise
\nAs for the rest of you
\nYou can whistle all you like
\nAs the ancient trees come down
\nThe Cypress and the Tupelo
\nAnd the wild birds then leave town<\/p>\n
The many violations
\nMillions of gallons will be
\nLost like the Rover pipeline
\nWhere industrial waste we see
\nDrilling fluids and sediment

Spoil banks bloody everywhere
\nBlocking the water flow
\nRuining the swamps
\nKilling the crawfish as we know

\nAs long as they build their pipeline
\nThey actually arn’t aware<\/p>\n
Earth Justice ofcourse is on their case
\nBut justice is seldom earned
\nThey are exploiting everything
\nEveryone is spurned
\nTheir misuseage and mishandling
\nIt all goes by the board
\nRemember DAPL and the indigenous
\nAnd Their just reward<\/p>\n
Beaten back and shot at
\nThe police on the corporates side
\nCommunities do not matter
\nThey should run and hide
\nIf they get polluted
\nThats too bad they should be
\nReady to forgo their air and water
\nAnd do that Routinely<\/p>\n
Feel the negative entity
\nEmbrace it and be sure
\nAs long as the fat cats make it through
\nMost outside the law
\nPipe down shut your traps up
\nLets us do our thing
\nThat is where we are at folks

We have to remain lifeless
