\nJettisoned years before

\nThe Ocean resplendent

Momentous energies
\nCleansing us all
\nThat mirror the skies
\nWith an undying call<\/p>\n
Out to all creatures
\nCo-existing today
\nTo be more aware
\nOf the need now to pay<\/p>\n
Respects and attention
\nFor tragically they are
\nSuffering terribly
\nNow near and far<\/p>\n
A sparseness of character
\nA meagreness for
\nThe abundance created
\nAnd there to explore<\/p>\n
A void and a vacancy
\nAnd emptiness where
\nOnce there was substance
\nPalpable and rare<\/p>\n
Arteries fed into hearts
\nAnd all found
\nBut now only filth
\nAnd plastic abound<\/p>\n
Acidic particles
\nDarkly despair
\nThe children are crying
\nThere is blood everywhere<\/p>\n
Oceans are dustbins
\nSadly where death
\nDestruction devoid
\nOnly dastardly breath<\/p>\n
Unbalanced unballasted
\nUnwieldy unjust
\nDeficient overloaded
\nIt so does disgust<\/p>\n
The gods and the goddesses
\nHow unfaithful we were
\nHow we let chaos reign
