\nFrom the very beginning

The multitudinous masses

\nTaking on the natural world

The potent and the mighty
\nThe pervading and the strong
\nResourceful and regarded
\nEfficacious all along
\nA vitality and vigour
\nFrom the alkalinity
\nThe invincible the unexhausted

I am the greatest Ocean
\nSuch productivity
\nRe-shaping and remoulding
\nA kind of constancy
\nRegeneration and resurgence
\nExpansion everywhere
\nUnfathomable chasms
\nSupported by the air<\/p>\n
Life and its vast intercourse
\nThe vital spark within
\nA case for the miasmic
\nJust underneath the skin
\nPollutants on a vast scale
\nRadiation too
\nA refuse tip beneath the waves
\nA nightmare coming true<\/p>\n
Corals fading bleaching reaching
\nMany species dying out
\nPlastic sputum miniscule
\nNaivete called into doubt
\nOil and gas and chemicals took
\nGerms into their core
\nMan has in a few short years
\nTaken Oceans into war<\/p>\n
The voiceless scream their undertones
\nGrip the heart and break the bones
\nDrama is at every portal
\nPsychodrama it is here
\nThe disinclination of sense and favour
\nA resoluteness loud and clear
\nFanaticsm and bigotry
\nA foregone conclusion now
\nThe corporatocracy advancing
\nWith intentions really now of how<\/p>\n
To syphon off the creative bounty
\nThe oceans children one by one
\nPollute and savage every life form
\nReally till the day is done
\nDebasement and deterioration
\nImpairment on a massive scale
\nIs it total ruination
