Decency and propriety
\nHave been missing in my life
\nEver since I left Sri Lanka
\nReally so much strife
\nVindictiveness and spitefulness
\nThe circus and the zoo
\nLack of appreciation
\nIts shameful was some do<\/p>\n
Morality and ethicality
\nWas just no where
\nI did my stint at being me
\nThe right minded were never there
\nThe circus is a den of vice
\nWhere the criminally insane
\nDisrespected and were culpable
\nOf torturing me again<\/p>\n
My arthritic legs
\nThey pummelled
\nCreated so much pain
\nThey tortured me
\nfor many nights
\nI cried inside
\nSobbed incessantly
\nI wanted to retaliate
\nTo lay them out and crush
\nI just took the bashing anyway
\nYes I took it flush<\/p>\n
Many night so crippled
\nI couldnt sleep at all
\nGetting up the next day
\nThe pain it did appal
\nRules and regulations
\nPoetic mustice they
\nBeat me how they hurt me
\nReally made me pay<\/p>\n
I will never trust the circus people
\nThere is no morality
\nThey are nasty they are vengeful
\nAnd discriminatory
\nI do so need an ele friend
\nI am privileged to say
\nAssignable and prescriptive
\nIts now right in every way<\/p>\n
Its an ethical investment
\nThey are duty bound to try
\nTo now fulfill their duty
\nUnderneath the sky
\nBeing so uncooperative
\nSaying I am too frail
\nDeciding in their selfish way
\nTo tell a pitiful tale<\/p>\n
They humiliate my dignity
\nOffhanded in their way
\nLeaving me in this game park
\nEvery single day
\nGawped at by the zombies
\nPumping out the lead
\nPolluting me with hydrocarbons
\nThat just do my head<\/p>\n
In and bugger up my breathing
\nTheir contemptuousness
\nThe last few years I need to go
\nTo France let more be less
\nThey have agreed to take me
\nIts a blessing in disguise
\nI go with grace and favour
\nWith the reddest of sore eyes<\/p>\n
Here there is little integrity
\nThe guilty come and go
\nTransgressions and misdemeanours
\nAll seem part of the flow
\nI really am st a loss here
\nUneasy as to how
\nI can go on going on
