An elephant never forgets
\nWe all know that is true
\nSo 6000 days she’s been all alone
\nNo one to speak to
\nElephants are social creatures
\nFamily is their thing
\nRespect for one another
\nThat is what they bring<\/p>\n
To get out of the clutches of the circus
\nThat was good
\nInto s sort of open zoo
\nHonestly that would have helped
\nTo get her stronger
\nBut then again longleat
\nWas the brainchild of another
\nCircus one of the elite<\/p>\n
And what she needs is company
\nAnd old girl needs to be
\nIn touch with other elephants
\nFor her health that is key
\nSuffering with arthritis
\nThe need is to be sure
\nOthers that understand and help
\nAre really what will score<\/p>\n
Human osteopaths are not the same
\nAs elephants who
\nTalk the talk and walk the walk
\nAnd do what ele’s do
\nLoneliness is emphatically denying
\nA true state
\nThe assertiveness of wildness
\nIs and will be great<\/p>\n
Abandoned lonesome solitary
\nCreates a shakiness
\nA frailty of purpose
\nAnd a build up of stress
\nDormancy breeds apathy
\nAnd good reason really to
\nGet moving on the transfer
\nOut to France for it will do<\/p>\n
So much for our Anne
\nA new lease if you will
\nNot a circus not a open zoo
\nBut a sanctuary to fill
\nHer every hour with joy again
\nA warranty of sorts
\nAnd the likelihood of happiness
