The so called
\nhunters
\nbrave men
\nwith their high powered rifles
\nthey go out
\nin the wilderness
\nand blow the wolves away
\nwithout a doubt
\nparade them as the vanquished
\nshot to pieces in a hail
\nof bullets with these unfair
\nodds then hunting men can’t fail
\nMinnesota cares so little
\nfor its wild one’s who
\nlive and die within its confines
\nit is their place too
\nthey were not given life
\nto just be shot as man decides
\nmurdered by the heartless
\ncreation confides
\nwith those of us, who appreciate
\nhow wolves take their place
\nin what is the true wilderness
\nand this fact we now face
\ncold hearted soulless evil men
\nwho take out wild souls
\nthose I pen,
\nthose sweet wild
\nwolves who do no wrong
\nwho lived the wild life
\nall along
\nclearly envied by those sh**ts
\nwho feel the need to shoot to bits
\nour furry friends those souls who know
\ntheir place and can live in the snow
\nThe First People, know them well
\nthey know their strengths
\nand they do tell
\nthe Minnesota people
\nthat
\nkilling wolves is not where
\nthey’re at
\nits a foolish senseless pastime and
\nwill so afflict our precious land
\nbut of course the mindless
\nhave no care
\ntheir hearts are hard
\ntheir souls are rare
\nstony silence from that brood
\nwho in their own blood lust
