May the Beltaine month
\nWhen birds when trees and flowers
\nCome into their own
\nAnd show the results of the many hours
\nSpent growing Out of the compost
\nAnd dancing with the light
\nEach revelation clearly
\nOf significance so bright<\/p>\n
THe magpies love the hawthorn
\nTheir nests will soonest be
\nThe little white flowers that we all love
\nWith such nectar for the bee
\nScattered at the roadsides
\nThe wondrous scents so high
\nstimulating the olfactory nerve
\nAnd the insects that fly by<\/p>\n
It just feels so summery
\nThe blossoms so lets weave
\nLeaves into crowns for the green man
\nHelp him to believe
\nHe sybolizes summers green
\nThe Perfection and now I
\nReceive the blessings avidly
\nRealizing why<\/p>\n
The thorns one must regard them
\nAs tenuously placed
\nIf I make light of their whereabouts
\nStill i will have faced
\nLove and all its blessings
\nAnd let us all agree
\nEverything feels beautiful
\nIn the shade of this sweet tree<\/p>\n
Enjoy your mead and druid fayre
\nThe maypole and the joy
\nHold hands and understand the care
\nThat friendship does employ
\nSuch rapture such abandonment
\nHalcyon days are here
\nThe cotswold orders feel good factor
\nBoth blessed and sincere.<\/p>\n
