Whaling carries on some off the radar
\nJApan ofcourse is as blatant as can be
\nPainting research across its bows
\nTrying to fool the world at large
\nBut murdering the whales so horribly<\/p>\n
ICeland tends or so we hear
\nTo flog the meat to tourists
\nThey say the local people dont eat whale
\nany more
\nMost have better things to eat
\nAnd so its fed to new comers
\nAll in the local eateries for sure<\/p>\n
NORWAY is quietly researching possibilities
\nThey hate the fact that whaling generally
\nIs frowned upon by people and so together
\nThe three of them are hoping
\nto whale again
\nOfficially<\/p>\n
Whales are massive creatures as most people know
\nWith vast amounts of blubber which can be
\nTurned into an oil and they have cartilage
\nTurned into chondroitin seems to me<\/p>\n
Other uses can be found for whale oil
\nAnd they Are going all out in the hope
\nThat they can get alternative markets established
\nAnd then approach the IWC with rope<\/p>\n
Long enough to get perhaps a resumption
\nVegans of this world wake up and see

\nOligosacchorides and omega 3
\nAnimal feed another potential market
\nJapan cannot add whale in its pet food

\nCanadians with their seal slaughter
\nOn the ice its more like war
\nThe whales now from the infamous three

\nBe utilized in some of these
\nIn candy bars they say
\nGolf balls hydraulic lubricants
\nProtoglycin too
\nResearching ways to use whale products
\nFor those still clueless to<\/p>\n

\nBehind our backs today
\nWays to much more slaughtering
\nOf whales I have to say
\nWe cannot afford to fall asleep
\nFor the cetaceans of this world
\nAre up against the monsters
\nWho it seems to have been hurled<\/p>\n
Into the pot of profit
\nAnd whales can make them dough
\nSeals and fish have loads of oil
\nAnd farming as we know
\nCan be great for fish feed
\nOf that is what they hope
\nFor me I hope they hang themselves
