\nWho would bless
\nThe relentlessness
\nCenturies of wisdom cometh
\nDown the ages to where we
\nSee such unfeeling
\nAnd how its stealing
\nAll heartfelt thought

They erect signboards
\n“No alcohol”
\n“No pornography”
\nSadistically
\nthey reprimand
\nOur inner spirit
\nAnd do it really
\nBlatantly<\/p>\n
Is it any wonder
\nWe would wish
\nTo climb our ladder
\nAnd take it down
\nThe callous stony-hearted gestures
\nThe unrelenting swathes
\nThat drown<\/p>\n
Our dreamtime and its recognition
\nThe appreciatitiveness
\nOf the desire
\nTo harp back to ancestral ramblings
\nAnd resist the modern fire
\nThe scoundrels at the root
\nOf government
\nWhose incendiary they may throw
\nInto our deep hearted feeling

Such thanklessness
\nPrescribed to people
\nNo amnesty apparently
\nVindictiveness yes by the bus load
\nCovetous it feels to me
\nUnwarranted towards a people
