The ways of the ancients

\nThe cry of the outback
\nIts bursts from each tree

Each camouflaged
\nIn the colour of soul
\nEvading their gaze
\nRestricting their role
\nFurtive and catlike
\nWe leap in the air

The inscrutable smile
\nFor all thats unknown
\nThe eucalpts messages
\nFrom being sown
\nIn the winds of reaction
\nAffirming our wealth
\nA peaceful assertiveness
\nAddressed with stealth<\/p>\n
It comes from our mother
\nThe realms that we know
\nThe earth so majestic
\nHer mind teaching flow
\nWhen we sleep her tutorials
\nOpen our mind
\nTo the heartfelt transfusion
\nThat helps us unwind<\/p>\n
