Cloaks of vernal chlorophyll
\nFrom my friend the daffodil
\nWho emerges with such meaning
\nTo open up in Spring
\nEach bloom as a rule
\nGives me its sweet call
\nAnd with utter harmony
\nIts honesty does sing<\/p>\n
a consensus of souls
\nNow Defying all
\nThe recent snow
\nThe angry wind
\nThat tried to overhaul
\nTheir truly amazing
\nAnd splended colours
\nUncovering such will
\nExposing what is joyfulness
\nAs their pollen
\nThey do spill<\/p>\n
They manifest such candour
\nIn unison each day
\nA lustre of light forgiving
\nMustard and sallow
\nEach spray
\nOld gold and amber
\nBrimstone and mellow
\nA glimpse of pure sulphur
\nAnd saffron yellow<\/p>\n
Dancing through Spring
\nExposing their all
\nFlowers of the fae
\nAlong the old crumbling wall
\nAble to rock
\nAnd Able to roll
\nLike songsters
\nMelodically giving us soul<\/p>\n
Around the cherry
\nWhose gnarled roots
\nImbibe
\nThe chords of creation
\nInspiring our tribe
\nThe dance of the tranquils
\nAffirming in me
\nAn emphatic wisdom
\nOf true constancy<\/p>\n
Bound up in conviction
\nCommanding their place
\nEach significant smile
\nDemanding the chase
\nOf A poetic eye
\nA creative recall
\nAsking us why
