\nthis has got to be the worst
\nidea imaginable
\nand arrogant too
\nwhat were you thinking?
\nhow could you do?
\nsuch a terrible thing

\nbring to these fine words
\nterror
\na view
\nthat most people
\nwould have
\nat the thought of these
\ndeaths
\ntruthfully they will be
\nholding their breaths
\nwondering why a great artist
\nlike you
\nwould stoop to this gruesome
\nof killings, a clue
\nart, is this art, really
\nwhy would you use
\nreal living specimens
\nand so abuse
\ncreation, for creation
\nclearly was here
\nand was brushed aside
\nfor me that was clear
\npainting those butterflies
\nnow that is art
\nbut killing them
\nsorry, who’d have the heart
\nto do this, 9000!
\nits beyond belief
\nto me its so wrong
\nthat they’ve all come
\nto grief
\nI’m really sad
\nthat art is about
\nto imagine that butterflies
\nliving, yes out
\nin the forests, and meadows
\nare not worthy souls
\nto have their short lives
\nand take on the roles
\npredetermined by all of creation
\nto do
\nbut are killed in their tracks
\nso that someone like you
\ncan create some art work
\nto me, its not fair
\nand I’m sure many more
