Hope springs eternal

\nReproached for ones looks
\nIt is demeaning to have no repute

Full marks to this girl
\nWho takes on the role
\nOf attempting to fight back
\nTo take some control
\nNow she is locked up in
\nA dank prison cell
\nAnd we must understand
\nThey are making it hell<\/p>\n
But she has the distinction
\nOf being herself
\nOn a much higher register
\nThan those who try
\nWith their guns and their arrogance
\nTo put her down
\nAnd threaten no doubt

But they elevate her
\nFor their evil intent
\nFor their self conceit
\nAnd their rigourous bent
\nIn tormenting a people
\nAnd being unfair
\nBy building more settlements
\nAnd still unaware
\nOf the fact its not their land
\nTo do as they do
\nBut the land of Palestine people
\nindeed true<\/p>\n
Its all gone quiet
\nBut lets guess that she be
\nTreated with anything than dignity
\nThey wish their souls could be equal
\nTo hers
\nTheir self assertion
\nAnd when it occurs
\nLost in the remnants
\nOf bitter desire
\nFor insolent thoughts

\nAnd imperious louts
\nWhatever happens
