There was a time when Farmers
\nCared for animals,
\nGood Husbandry
\nand they understood their needs
\nNow that Science has become
\nthe Farmer, its factories
\nand we all know, where that leads<\/p>\n
Farmers are just serfs who render
\nanimals,
\nguinea pigs with medicines galore
\nScience has took charge, so
\nno emotion, no engagement
\nOf that now we’re sure
\nLove and care unfortunately
\nthats gone by the bye
\nEcology and everything besides
\nthey do not try.<\/p>\n
Wisdom is forgotten
\nbasically you lose
\nthe relationship you had
\nand instead, tend to abuse
\nAnd I think because of this
\nFarmers neglect to realise
\nThe animals are living sentient
\nbeings, the surprise
\nThey have the industrial methods
\nIts rained down on them,and they
\ncan’t see the sun can’t feel the rain
\nits concrete all the way<\/p>\n

\nWhen animals have to die
\nnobody fights shy
\nin reality no one cares a sod?
\nThey’re thrown into a bloody truck
\nnot fed, nor watered they
\nelectric prods hurt the poor sods
\nand now of course they pay
\nThe ultimate price and no one cares
\nThey kick them and make them go
\nIn to the abattoir of death
\nAlone, as well we know.
