\nI am, a female actually,
\nplucked out of the ocean
\nin fact the Wedden Sea
\nand tossed into a soupy tank
\nwhere I should never be
\nfed on dead fish
\nfor me, its hell
\nand more so every day
\nno plants
\nno air
\nto speak of
\nno friends
\nand along the way
\nno family
\nall I do is swim around
\nthis sky blue tank
\nuntil I just get giddy
\nits dirty, and its rank
\nand they hope to get me pregnant
\nartifically
\nmoney, money, money, dollars bills
\nthey see
\nmy pod, my precious family
\nour inter relating hours
\nthey do not care a monkeys
\nthey have now all my powers
\nmy family must be grieving
\nthey must be for I too
\nam worrying about my mother
\nand my brothers
\nfor they do
\nlove me, and I love them
\nand we play about all day
\nwe’re still learning about
\nthe wisdom
\nmothers teaches and she does say
\nso many wondrous things to us
\nas we swim along
\nand to split us up as they have done
\nwell of course its very wrong
\nthey must now think, that I am dead
\nor imprisoned and my ma
\nwill be pining for me
\nshe always does
\nno matter where we are
\ngood mothers really everywhere
\nworry for their off spring
\nand my mother is no exception
\nwhen together, we all sing
\nround and round and round and round
\nits pretty boring stuff
\nlife can get on top of you
\nin here, its really rough
\nno plants the plants
\nhave medicinal qualities, and we
\ncan get relief from some of them
\nbut here its not to be
\njust chlorinated mayhem
\nand the clamour of the crowd
\nthe rowdy raucous ignorant souls
\nits like a massive shroud
\nthat hangs over the tank, I’m in
\nits a noisy frightening mob
\nand I have to pretend I’m happy
\ndoing tricks that really rob
\nme of my sensibility
\nI have wisdom after all
\nand these cretins who believe
\nthemselves intelligent, I fall
\nabout sometimes just laughing at the
\nlittle they do know
\nabout all of us Orca’s
\nand how we live and grow
\n2 years of this great boredom
\nand sorrow has led me
\nto wonder whether death
\nwould really prove, in fact happy
\nI would not be put on the spot
\nand expected to perform
\nin a soup of chlorinated blue
\nthats exceptionally warm
\nHumankind there’s none of it
\nthe people that feed me
\nthey are a bunch of uncaring
\nthoughtless ignorant to the degree
\nof what they do not know about us
\nwell its hard to realise
\nthey pluck us from our habitat
\nand cry, on our demise<\/p>\n
To those of you the sensitives
\nhelping us to fight
\nthrough the courts
\nyou are in my thoughts
\nfor you can see the light
\nthe bureaucratic presence
\nthat hangs across our path
\nand promises so very much but
\nall we see is the wrath
\nis the evil and the uncompromising
\nsuggestions of those few
\nwho capture us for money
