The arrogance, sprang forth
\nfrom that huge corporate
\nMonsanto years ago,
\nwith its vision
\nto take over agriculture
\nand extend its market share
\nas well we know.Money buys the souls of some
\nand gives them
\nthe rights to work
\ntheir soils, as if it were
\nTheir own and with their sickly
\nminds laboriously, they
\nUsed Genetic larceny
\nto stir<\/p>\n

In the organic
\nartisinal farmers
\nA power to fight that few
\naround could see
\nAnd for 40 years the battle
\nhas been raging
\nacross the world
\nand now won by
\ncorporates
\nwho found the key<\/p>\n

Unlocked Government agencies
\nallowing
\nBlind eyes to be used
\nand factors filed
\nThey also unlocked minds
\nof failing farmers
\nWho let them in and seemed so
\nreconciled<\/p>\n

To the lies they told
\nabout the savings for them
\nLies that show those great
\nbelievers how
\nCorporates fail on ethic
\ncertainly have no memory
\nall they want is to exert
\nmore power<\/p>\n

Soya, Corn and Rice
\nhave all been plundered
\nThe native planters have
\nbeen pushed aside
\nSaving heirloom seeds was
\nseen as criminal
\nThe genetic drift now
\ncannot be denied<\/p>\n

Its spread across the earth
\npolluting everything
\nScience knew this
\nbefore GM began
\nBut still it used its influence
\nto change the agricultural face
\nand pay off ignorant Farmers man
\nto man<\/p>\n

Those with lots of land
\nJust let them do it
\nRaised their trials
\nand compensate them for
\nthe use of land and media
\nand science
\nfor with all their vast resource
\nthey wanted more<\/p>\n

The carved out huge great
\nareas of forest
\nOfferred dollars
\nto those people who
\nand backhanders
\nto the Governments
\nCorruption spread
\nlike forest fires
\nAnd Soya Beans rose
\nskywards on the blue<\/p>\n

and all genetically modified
\nto take Glyphosate
\nMonsanto’s ploy
\nTo sell its Round up
\nand make loads of money
\nFarmers they could use it
\nand enjoy<\/p>\n

Freedom for their Soya but
\nalas, alas
\nGM spread has reached
\ninto the heart
\nContamination of heirloom
\nand organic
\nand created huge plantation
\nseen enmasse<\/p>\n

Years ago I knew
\nthe vilest outcome
\nBut corporate power
\nhelped dissolve all of that
\nCorruption spread
\nlike wild fire
\nand GM proved to be
\nNot the miracle it was
\nactually sold to me<\/p>\n

Science gave support
\nin selling GM
\nto the masses
\nConvinced itself
\nand it seemed on a roll
\nThey crushed dissent
\nwhich seemed well mean’t
\nbought up more
\npower so easily
\nAgriculture clearly
\nlacking soul<\/p>\n

Monsanto’s now enormous
\na giant fed on gore
\nits bought small farmers
\neveywhere
\nAnd now its locked the door
\nour seeds
\nare all genetic
\nThe common man can’t tell
\nLabels do not say a word
\nYes he would do well
\nBut thats the greatest US law
\nAnd clearly it is Hell
\non earth
\nsqualid I do suppose
\nThey have taken our rich food supply
\nand turned it on its nose<\/p>\n

And now its just a matter
\nof time and we will see
\nexpensive food poor quality food
\nwhich basically will be
\nImbalanced and real sickly
\nthe fat will increase in size
\nthe poor will become poorer
\nWhich is really no surprise<\/p>\n
