The unscrupulous opportunism
\nIn Zimbabwe today
\nBecause therecwas a dry spell
\nThe artfulness to pay
\nLittle respect to the Elephants
\nAnd deviously try
\nTo poison what was left around
\nOf the limited water supply<\/p>\n
It calls for a lot of shamefulness
\nAnd a shabby point of view
\nSome big dollops of vilainy
\nAnd disloyalty to do
\nThe dirty on the pachyderms
\nWho are needful so to say
\nAnd by putting aside their rifle
\nIs an iniquitous display<\/p>\n
No noise all done quite quietly
\nPoison in the hole
\n4 lovely elephants Suffer
\nAll have lost control
\nThe poachers really wickedly
\nHacked their ivory away
\nA complete abomination
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
Clearly they lack pity
\nUnfeeling all the way
\nRuthless they lack compassion
\nWrongdoers who must pay
\nTheir malevolence is awful
\nTheir viciousness is too
\nCallous and blood thirsty
\nExasperation true<\/p>\n
To see those handsome creauures
\nStretched out and forlorn
\nClearly died in agony
\nCaused by a violent spawn
\nThese poachers their hostility
\nAnd animosity
\nTheir evil eye of malice
\nBeyond how it should be<\/p>\n
Butchering their corpses
\nthe ivory away
\nThe blatancy the flagrancy
\nAn affront to all who pay
\nRespects to all the elphants
\nIts a total evil act
\nCraven hearted laggards
\nWhose own bones should be cracked<\/p>\n
Made to feel the agony
\nAs on their journey they
\nAre going to make their fortune
\nIn a country far away
\nAnd these are probably Africans
\nBorn and bred who be
\nAble to kill an elephant
\nAnd sell its ivory<\/p>\n
The poison though is evil
\nIt will not only kill
\nThe elephant but the vulture
\nAnd the jackal yes it will
\nAnd any other visitor
\nWho should amble near to where
\nThe water hole is lying
\nThat audacity to share<\/p>\n
Harare in Zimbabwe
\nCyanide they use
\nTheir ugliness second to none
\nSuch terrible abuse
\nNo regret whatsoever
\nTheir loathsomeness we see
\nSending elephant angels
