More light doth shine
\nand we feel whole
\nAgain and in the stable where
\nEwes give milk to hungry young
\nFilled with a sense of being there
\nBrigid brings her fire to bear
\nThe stove the hearth the cauldon where
\nMagick casts and we can taste
\nThe wholesomeness that all can share<\/p>\n
Imbolc set the altar to
\nA perfect spot where we might see
\nA window and its frosty panes
\nTo feel that genuine sense of glee
\nPerfected by the lapping sounds
\nOf lambs whose true expectancy
\nIs bounding through the grassy glades
\nWith irreproachability<\/p>\n
Clearwells chasms stretching deep
\nWhere ghosts of miners long ago
\nDug out all the rocks a plenty
\nStruggled with them down below
\nold Ham as it was,now called clearwell
\nA hidden world where Romans too
\nToiled beneath the ancient forests
\nPlunging vertical and true<\/p>\n
Lets pay homage to the darkness
\nTo the silence that is here
\nLets us join hands and be together
\nIn candle light we all appear
\nTo quiescent calming and composure
\nUndisturbed unhurried we
\nTravellers transposed in ether
\nAffirming with our commentary<\/p>\n
At the midpoint tween the Winter Solstice
\nAnd the Spring equinox
\nBrigid the exalted one
\nBless her little cotton socks
\nA cross she wove for our protection
\nA solar symbol to behold
\nFashioned from a watery reed
\nAnd with our fingers it is rolled<\/p>\n
A patroness of bards and druids
\nHealing wells and springs
\nA druid father a christian slave mother
\nWas sold to a Druidic poet who brings
\nForth such prosaic rhyme and reason
\nAnd she was trained and there she be
\nHighly exalted full on healing
