\nWhich Taiji has relied
\nOn it for many murders
\nCarried out down By the sea
\nPithing them and enslaving them
\nSo infuriatingly
\nIt has to be embarrassing
\nAnd irksome to those who
\nLive in Broome and support
\nThe disgusting and offensive
\nWork they do<\/p>\n
And to do this without soul searching
\nWithout apology
\nAnd never conscience stricken
\nJust so remorselessly
\nCreating an unsightliness
\nSuch sqalor everywhere
\nIt is an obscenity
\nA boorishness both share<\/p>\n
A loss of face for the Japanese
\nWhose clearly corrupt way
\nOf dealing with cetaceans
\nMore loutish each day
\nIt is the height of nonsense
\nAnd risibility
\nGrotesque in every detail
\nAnd a nonconformity<\/p>\n
For councillors to snigger
\nOr take a bung or two
\nWhatelse could be the motive
\nTo do what these towns do
\nShielding and protecting
\nDerision and mimicry
\nSome utopian priviledge
\nDone suspiciously<\/p>\n
Broome should have some real face
\nWith this old enemy
\nShow some bulldog courage
\nEndurance I want to see
\nReally be intrepid
\nDauntless and self assurred
\nAt the moment they are skulking
\nAnd its the price we cant afford<\/p>\n
And it is clearly withering
\nDown by the toilet door
\nAn unconcern and a lack of zeal
\nLike nothing seen before
\nIn all of Australian History
\nTo be so unconcerned
\nTo really take no interested
\nTo the point we all feel spurned<\/p>\n
If Broome stood up and was counted
\nTaiji would feel it quick
\nThe cetaceans would get a filip
\nWe know the arithmatic
\nTheir arrogance and ignorance
\nAre cancers to their soul
\nTheir diplomatic rancour
\nOfcourse was to control<\/p>\n
Clearly there is no love around
\nAnd no understanding too
\nBut they are building up a hatred
\nOf each other which is true
\nA real antagonism and
\nAnger to be sure
\nHarking back to the
\nCold dark days
\nWhen they were at war<\/p>\n
When Japan bombed Broome harbour
\nAnd a number lost their life
\nAnd still feel thst resentment
\nThat sulleness and strife.
\nIt was basically such malevolence
\nTrue evil intent
\nThe very worst intentions
\nA malignancy they had soent<\/p>\n
But despite the lack of true concern
\nAnd the inhumanity
\nBroome’s hand is still in taiji pants
\nAnd looks out ghoulishly
\nGloating ever hostile
\nAnd disobligingly
\nUnmoved by all these dolphin deaths
\nUnder the tarps who be<\/p>\n
Pithed and watch their precious blood
\nSpill into the blue
\nAnd nobody prepared to denounce
