It was no misunderstanding
\nAs the blizzard tore into
\nI was tied up to that telphone pole
\nNot knowing what to do
\nA travesty of justice
\nCross-purposes not I
\nWhere is the revelation
\nThe hoarding from on high<\/p>\n
Unconcealed and overt
\nBrandishing my tears
\nSaid to be aggression
\nBut Plainly they were fears
\nA spotlight though was showing
\nA message from afar
\nThere was no way of saving
\nThis canine super star<\/p>\n
He was no apparition
\nHis candour like a book
\nOpen just releasing all that tension
\nAnd it shook
\nMe right down to the gunnels
\nI felt the shivering shake
\nHis eyes blood red and silent
\nMy heart it just did break<\/p>\n
Hidden fires were present
\nSubliminal was his cry
\nSomeone tied me to this pole
\nI cant imagine why
\nLurking skulking in his darkness
\nPassively he goes
\nVeiled in covert secrecy
\nAnd my blood it flows<\/p>\n
I am in such purdah
\nA smokescreen of sorts
\nEnter plod the policeman
\nWith his assorted thoughts
\nEvasive the duplicity
\nI have felt it all before
\nIts cryptic and its hooded
\nEasy to ignore<\/p>\n
There are no halo’s present
\nThey conspire to put an end
\nWith bated breath I stutter
\nClearly no one here’s a friend
\nThere are no affirmations
\nThe force is sworn to be
