To have reconciled
\nWith our noble wild
\nAnd iconic Kangaroo
\nIts gallantry
\nIts gentility
\nAcknowledged

Re branding it
\nk-Roo infact
\nAnd encouraging folk to eat
\nAnd to want more Roo’s
\nIs just not good news
\nWe should all eat, less meat<\/p>\n
Less flesh and blood
\nThe organic ones
\nBush angels born and bred
\nThey represent Australia
\nAlive folks never DEAD<\/p>\n
Qantas put them on their wings
\nThe Australian rugby side
\nHave them boldly on their shirts
\nThat is not denied
\nSo to eat more flesh
\nAnd to kill more Roo’s
\nWhat really does that say
\nAustralia is ungracious
\nIn a very churlish way<\/p>\n
Unpleasant and disagreeable
\nTo our iconic breed
\nWe should all show them our closeness
\nAnd hope that more succeed
\nA fondness and understanding
\nFor a wild soul under fire
\nGive them our devotion
\nFor out there things are dire

Instead of adopting Kangaroo
\nBe a veggie for a day
\nIn this hot climate that we have here
