Being afraid that a friends going to die
\nA panic attack that reached up to the sky
\nWaiting for the axe to cut off his head
\nMy dear little chick boy then will be dead<\/p>\n
A mother believes that the chickens for tea
\nShe will slice off its head
\nWith her sharp machete
\nThe chicken is conscious it knows and it feels
\nSuch fear in the grasp of the mother who steals<\/p>\n
Time, he intrepidly clings onto life
\nKnowing the women is causing him strife
\nHer child is beside himself he is his friend
\nAnd clearly is hoping that all this wont end<\/p>\n
His relationship really with the chicken now who
\nHe loves as a friend not part of some stew
\nHe appeals to his mother this is my friend
\nAnd honestly mother it must never end<\/p>\n
The fear and the trembling of seeing ones mother
\nClutching a chicken not just another
\nBut a true and real friend, who could now lose his life
\nAnd his head too helping to cause all of this strife<\/p>\n
The child screams aloud and hits his mama
\nThis is my best friend my true chicken star
\nSo leave him alone I so beg of you
\nWe are friends and he cannot be part of your stew<\/p>\n
The mother’s a carnivore what would she know
\nFor her its a joke the line she won’t tow
\nChickens are food we eat them and they
\nIts them or its us at the end of the day<\/p>\n
The child represents some compassion and we
\nAre reminded each life is precious to see
\nWe dont have to eat animals thats for sure
\nLets all join the ranks of the true herbivore<\/p>\n
Lets be like the child who knows in his heart
\nThat the chicken he values and did from the start
\nHe is his friend and to watch a friend die
\nIs wrong he is family which is why He does cry<\/p>\n
As for the mother she hasnt a hope
