Botswana’s Okavango Delta
\nThe Drama and the prayer
\nA pride of Lions so hungry
\nAnd a Buffalo Bull was there
\n900 massive kilos
\nOf muscle through and through
\nStanding in the swamp alone
\nWhat were they planning to do?<\/p>\n
He was much too heavy
\nRunning was not his way
\nHe weighs much more than all the Lions

One lion leaps high upon his back
\nAnd the Buffalo took the force
\nAs Teeth sank into his great thick hide

\nwith unimaginable strength
\nHe Twists and turns trying to throw
\nthe Lion off of his damaged back
\nAnd his gyrations grow<\/p>\n
Such a thrashing in the water
\nMud tossed into the air
\nGrasses torn a’sunder
\nSplashing everywhere
\nThe lions are really tugging
\nUsing lethal force
\nIn the throes of hunger
\nIts all taking its course<\/p>\n
The Buffalo’s hearts a furnace
\nBlasting too and fro
\nTearing up the undergrowth
\nAnd was able to finally throw
\nThe lionness off his bleeding back
\nLike a feather she did fly
\nSpluttering and snorting
\nHigh into the sky<\/p>\n
Such a darkly hoarseness
\nGuttural it was
\nBoth animals exhausted
\nclearly just because
\nAll were really suffering
\nThe stress levels so high
\nThe shock and awe
\nAnd the blood and gore
\nFor both really could die<\/p>\n
The Buffalo though bleeding
\nHis thick hide it would heal
\nHe had that protection
\nOfcourse the wound was real
\nBut should make a recovery
\nThe Lions were shaken, they
\nClearly thwarted and frustrated
\nWith nothing to eat today<\/p>\n
All that blood and thunder
\nIs Played out everyday
\nReally this epic battle
\nSuch iron will Paved the way
\nAll of that tenacity
\nThat single mindedness
\nGot him through the struggle
