Dolphins are wild mammals
\nIntelligently predisposed
\nTo the open sea, the oceans blue
\nThe habitat for one so true
\nPlayful and amenable
\nTalented and fair
\nAble to swim many miles a day
\nand so aware
\nOf their particular environment
\nPerhaps like few about
\nSensitive to soundwaves
\nWithout a shadow of a doubt
\nCaptured forced to prade themselves
\nProstitute their game
\nThey do things because they want to
\nNot because they are tame
\nThey have no contemplation
\nof money not at all
\nTheir playful, and their innocently
\nplaying that is all<\/p>\n
Trapping them and installing them
\nInside what is a pool
\nMade by artificial means
\nand expecting them to trawl
\naround this very dead place
\nno life at all within
\nno phyto plankton or eggs
\nor really anything<\/p>\n
And in this dull blue world
\nthat we created
\nWe expect the wild ones
\nThen to play
\nWe restrict them
\nto this artificiality
\nand expect them to perform
\njust when we say<\/p>\n
We humans,
\nwe are really ultra arrogant
\nwhen money is the goal
\nthe peak of cool
\ndriven by the strong desire
\nfor profit
\nwe are prepared to exploit
\nand really all<\/p>\n
Our wisdom is built up around
\nthese methods,
\nfor a being to
\nhave aspects
\nfar beyond
\nA truly heightened
\nintelligence
\nof sonar on all levels
\nall seeing and
\nthus able to respond<\/p>\n
Standing on their heads
\nAnd mimicking humans
\nLeaping very high
\ninto the air
\nSplashing and blowing
\nrings into the water
\nFor Dolphins its so simple
\nI dare<\/p>\n
Say they do get
\nvery soon frustrated
\nThe tedium of what human brain
\ncan scan
\nThey have the power to not
\nbreathe and their reasoning
\nMight not go hand in hand
\nWith the human plan<\/p>\n
And so we come back to
\nthe pool at Connyland
\n8 sweet souls have perished
\nthere and we
\nRemember “Chelmers” and “Shadow”
\nParty to a rave
\nYoungsters clearly out
\nof their heads
\nAnd at decibels that gave<\/p>\n
The dolphins much confusion
\nand fear, for sounds create
\nmassively within them
\nto be in this dire state
\nand with drugs thrown
\nin the water
\nmayhem did ensue
\nIt spelled the
\nend of reason
\nFor the wild who<\/p>\n
gave up<\/p>\n
I signed the petition to stop any more dolphins going into captivity at Connyland Switzerland. Amusement Parks do not amuse when they are imprisoning wild playful children and subjecting them to terrible torment.Our lack of true judgement and not being able to truly understand the creatures has led to these deaths.
