A nip in the air
\nA feeling so rare
\nThe teeth start to chatter
\nGoose bumps everywhere
\nArctic conditions
\nA snowstorm of white
\nSnowflakes that whisper
\nEach having a bite<\/p>\n
Whose hypothermic
\nEach man of snow
\nWith carrots for eyes
\nAnd a hat that may blow
\nOff
\nwhen the wind just startles us all
\nAnd we hang in suspension
\nNot wanting to fall<\/p>\n
Over yonder a cauldron
\nOnce sat by the fire
\nWith herbs going crazy
\nAnd the sound of a lyre
\nWarming the heart strings
\nA maiden there too
\nWith a besom close by
\nWeaving spells about you<\/p>\n
A bowl of hot groats
\nSoftened, over night
\nHeating cold fingers
\nThat looked very white
\nHaving flown through the clouds
\nWith the faerie folk who
\nWear their necklaces white
\nEach enriched by some dew<\/p>\n
As the daylight begins
\nAnd the winds go to ground
\nAnd the melt water warms
\nThen often I have found
\nOrbs floating skywards
\nAs night dares to fall
\nTo lodge in the tree tops
