Us cockatoo’s really we feed
\nIn open fields where we succeed
\nIn finding nuts and seeds
\nBut we
\ntake leaves and buds

Insects too
\nThat is where
\nWe build our nests
\nAnd clearly share<\/p>\n
An existing hole
\nWe will check it out
\nTart it up
\nIts all about
\nCustomising
\nOur little place
\nGiving it some female grace<\/p>\n
A lot of us feed
\nAnd tend to be
\nSafer
\nIts because more see
\nWhats going on,and that is great
\nSafety in numbers
\nWe do rate<\/p>\n
Our feet are different
\n4 toes do you see
\nTwo face forwards
\nTwo backwards they be
\nDifferent in the sense
\nIt helps us climb
\nZyodactyl
\nThat does rhyme<\/p>\n
We have hollow bones
\nWhich help us fly
\nAir sacs around our bodues lie
\nWhen the air gets thin
\nWe manage to
\nFlap around
\nThats what we do<\/p>\n
Both parts of our bill
\nCan move
\nSo in a sense we are in the groove
\nTop and bottom can you see
\nMost birds dont have this
\nActually<\/p>\n
I like John he is good to me
\nFeeds me stuff
\nMakes me happy
\nNow I am courting
\nJosephine
\nShe does her thing a lot
\nHer scene<\/p>\n
Is out beyond the forest where
\nShe likes to fly
\nAnd likes to share
\nSpecial seeds that only she
\nKnows about
\nThats what she told me<\/p>\n
So we stay put there
\nAnd forage too
\nWe fly with the group
\nIts what we do
\nWe go and see John
\nAnd his gorgeous smile
\nHe’s a vegan
\nAnd we stay awhile<\/p>\n
He doesnt eat birds
\nIn him we trust
\nHe feeds us well
\nSo he’s a must
\nWe are cockatoo’s
\nAnd we sing the blues
\nAnd we love bright colours
\nAnd are seldom fussed<\/p>\n
One little thing
\nYou might not know
\nIs we poop but never pee
\nIts out
\nThrough our cloaca
\nYes goodbye
\nCrop gizzard intestines
\nAs we fly<\/p>\n
If we drink a lot
\nWe release some too
\nWhen we actually have our poo
\nSorry to actually end on that note
\nBut stanley is happy
