\nAnd really need a place to live
\nHome and housing sadly
\nCauses stress that seems to give
\nCrabs a really miserable time
\nThe natural shells are taken
\nBy tourists off the beaches
\nLeaving certain critters shaken<\/p>\n
A residence in sandy bay
\nClose to the Andaman sea
\nIs the place to hangout
\nwhere the high class like to be
\nIts kind of natural timeshare
\nFor every single year
\nThey do outgrow their dwelling
\nHome sweet home its clear<\/p>\n
Housing yea in paradise
\nIs harder by the day
\nAnd so they resort to garbage
\nThats left around the bay
\nPepsi cans and mackerel cans
\nBut staying put in these
\nIt can be disconcerting
\nFor there is no place to squeeze<\/p>\n
To lock on with their bodies
\nThats what hermits do
\nIts such a drag to contort oneself
\nDespite the lovely view
\nAnd so the humans trying to help
\nLeave sea shells all about
\nSo hermits can find places now
\nThat leave them little doubt<\/p>\n
You still may see the mackerel can
\nMoving down the beach
\nAnd probably find a hermit crab
\nA squatter on out reach
\nBut clearly housing sucks
\nThe hermit crabs they all agree
\nWhen Finding suitable detached shells
\nWashed up by the sea<\/p>\n
And we think London’s housing
\nCan and is a pain
\nBut imagine having to move each year
\nIt certainly does drain
\nThe average hermit funnily enough
\nIn Paradise the housing shortage
