I live in the forest
\nI love it so much
\nwith Nature, my dears
\nI do keep in touch
\nthat’s despite all the human’s
\naround with their cars
\nwith their noise
\nwith their guns
\nthe forest is such
\nI walk very quietly
\nI run very fast
\nand I watch just one human
\nwho must come from my past
\nshe’s very gentle
\nshe’s very true
\nshe’s showed me care
\nunlike many who
\nchase me
\nand shock me
\nand shoot me
\nfor they
\nare ruffians
\nreally who think
\nI should pay
\nI don’t touch their flowers
\nits the wild plants,I eat
\nthe hot spicy Shepherds Purse
\nand Chickweed, sweet
\nthe clover
\nthe plantain
\nthey see me al’right
\nand help me to see extra colours
\nat night
\nthen there’s this gal
\nI was telling you
\nYes she is a human
\nbut special all through
\nbut she is more likely
\nto be in the realms
\nof the fairies
\nfor just how can she be
\nshe can communicate
\njust with her eyes
\nnot a word spoken
\n yes funnily
\nshe’s graceful
\nand wears earthy colours
\nall shades of green, and night blacks
\npurples, and lilac
\nand shades of the forest
\nsorry dears
\nthey are the facts
\nher lovely big eyes
\ntake in my eyes too
\nreflecting her soul
\nso clearly in view
\nmy eyes are amber
\nand she holds my stare
\nand we speak of the past
\nshe’s so very rare
\nto find such a soul
\nand to talk as we do
\nbut I must say I love
