After the genocide
\nThe burden for all
\nSurvivors demanded
\nAnd essential tool
\nThe heart and the soul of a nation
\nTo be
\nBrought closer together
\nFor eternity<\/p>\n
Women those widowed
\nAnd mentally stressed
\nWithin their pure gender
\nWere always on test
\nThey struggle with life now
\nMore so than men do
\nthough maybe in the background
\nThat is my view<\/p>\n
A realization that is often lost
\nIn actuality really its cost
\nWomen a great deal
\nWhich life seldom sees
\nBut this is whats happened
\nDespite all their pleas<\/p>\n
Societies listening ability fails
\nTo see how they suffer
\nCompared to the males
\nIts like this all over
\nThe planet today
\nThey are taken for granted
\nIn everyway<\/p>\n
So much of their burden
\nInfact is unpaid
\nNo job descriptions
\nBut on them is laid
\nVast responsibility
\nAnd many do
\nWork outside of the home
\nThey do this too<\/p>\n
There should be equality
\nIt has to be
\nA balance in all things
\nIntrinsically
\nRespect for all of the work
\nWomen do
\nUnpaid or paid
\nThat matters that view<\/p>\n
Of life and its consequences
\nDo Matter so
\nGender equality
\nThen it will flow
\nThe blockage is often male domination
\nPrejudiced really base exploitation<\/p>\n
Much of it lost in the ether of life
\nThe lack of experience causes the strife
\nWhat was expected traditionally
\nBut is often unutterable tragically
\nAnd those demands affect temperament
\nCardinal points when the body is spent
\nTo still be expected to labour so long
\nGets into the marrow and really its wrong<\/p>\n
So confrontation is an issue abroad
\nThere isnt an antidote most can afford
\nA world of difference apparently
\nBut as truth would have it reality
\nIs that we have to be equal
\nThats the only way
\nWe need that awareness to work through each day<\/p>\n
And so opportunities have to be shared
\nWith a level playing field problems are aired
\nNo discrimination reciprocity
\nThat is the way out and how it should be
\nBased on respect, set on an even keel
\nSo the springboard of life
\nCan then only appeal
\nIf we enter lifes journey with a disparate view
\nThen even the minutiae become unmanageable too<\/p>\n
There has to be change respect has to be
\nThere on the board so all of us see
\nIgnorance that too needs filing away
\nAnd arrogance gentleman what can I Say
\nWe need to value the ladies and we
\nNeed to give them respect and we hopefully
\nWill channel our thoughts into a mindful need
