\nLook back on this monument

\nAnd blue stones were used
\nHow did they do that
\nMost have refused

\nWere everyone at the end of the day
\nFurther examination of the pit
\nFound crushing of chalk
\nWhere something might sit
\nIt turned out to be the presili blue
\nStones that were here first
\nA ring good and true<\/p>\n
So originally there had been
\nA blue stone ring
\nIt was later the sarsen
\nStones people did bring
\nAnd they were erected
\nStone henge had begun
\nWith its solstice alignments
\nTo the midwinter sun<\/p>\n
Some 50,000 fragments of bone
\nAll sorts a great mix
\nHow could he have known
\nUndaunted they took them all back yo the lab
\nAnd examined them carefully
\nThere on the slab<\/p>\n
Ear bones and skull parts
\nWere identified
\nCat scanning some of them
\nIt was discovered they were
\nMale and female <\/p>\n
In real terms, the green
\nPlain and the ruins
\nAnd he recalled
\nWilliam Hawley the cremated bones
\nThat were hauled
\nInto sandbags and buried
\nUnder a plaque
