\nIs expensive so what do we do
\nWe shiver yes maybe
\nWindchill can be piercing
\nPerhaps it is a time
\nTo recharge all our batteries

Into thoughts of dreaming
\nInspiration for a year
\nThats coming when the good old sun will once again
\nappear
\nGet to grips with our inner child
\nThe snowman and the slide
\nWatch the countryside coming back to life
\nYes why not hide<\/p>\n
At home a while, and read some books
\nWrite an ode or two
\nA bit of self reflection
\nAbout what you need to do
\nLots of mugs of cocoa
\nAnd just let jack frost Feel
\nHe too is doing great things
\nOn what is the seasonal wheel<\/p>\n
Chilling off the bugs around
\nLightening the loam
\nDamping down the wilder plants
\nWhilst you can rest at home
\nPerhaps beside a nice log fire
\nWith embers burning hot
\nWith chestnuts roasting
\nAnd some toast
\nSat there in a pot<\/p>\n
Remembering the ancestors
\nSitting around the hearth
\nProbably none possessed tv
\nOr sound bars No their path
\nWas out there with the livestock
\nImbolc coming fast
\nThe little lambs in ivy
\nDespite the wintry blast<\/p>\n
Yule was cold and frosty
\nBut you felt so inspired
\nThe biting wind played havoc
\nAnd despite feeling quite tired
\nThe darkness brought some good thoughts
\nAnd Allowed you to make plans
\nFor me preferring not to shop
\nBut just eat out of cans<\/p>\n
Just watch a few cars fighting through
\nThe hoary frost outside
\nFeel the wrath of winter
