\nIndisposed to give up eating turtle eggs
\nwe have found
\nUncooperative and recalcitrant
\nIts really rather sad
\nFighting our dear mother
\nWhich isnt seen as bad<\/p>\n
Really a basic obstinacy
\nSingle minded crap
\nIts really hard core arrogance
\nAn environmental trap
\nWhat really is dishonesty
\nThe artfullness of those
\nMaking heaps of money
\nDespite the sand between their toes<\/p>\n
Sea shepherd puts its money where it heart is
\nAnd we see
\nThe turtles being driven
\nEven further from the sea
\nBeaches being carved up
\nFor marina’s and the rest
\nWhat chance has a leatherback
\nWith good for nothingness<\/p>\n
These turtles have been coming
\nSince the dinosaur
\nComing to specific beaches
\nAnd they all ignore
\nThe signs they see the poachers
\nBut few around are there
\nReady to protect the nests
\nNew life to be aware<\/p>\n
Conservation its a word
\nThe weak inherit less
\nThe rich command the human world
\nAnd build up all the stress
\nWith the turtles now endangered
\nSome critical some say
\nIts obvious with the wholesale loss of eggs
\nNow everyday<\/p>\n
Turtles being eaten their eggs are eaten too
\nOstional there from ostional
\nWhich is ofcourse untrue
\nAnd everybody knows that
\nThey are from the local strand
\nThe endangered beaches are being hit
\nAnd few will understand<\/p>\n
Were it not for sea shepherd
\nWho takes the poachers on
\nDespite the deaths and criminality
\nIf and when they are gone
\nCosta rican natives would kill their dear mama
\nThey are wicked as the day is long
\nAnd have transgressed very far<\/p>\n
The junges being torn up
\nThe beaches torn up too
\nIn a short while there’s chaos
\nAnd what can shepherds do
\nUp against the AK 47 not a lot
\nJust patrol the beaches
\nAnd hope they dont get shot<\/p>\n
500,000 species
\nParadise once there
\nNow the government sits on its hands
\nAnd the police are just no where
\nThe poachers are all over
\nIts profits for the few
\nTheir precious mother is suffering
\nAnd no one knows what to do<\/p>\n

\nAnd go in heavily
\nIf there is no enforcement
\nThere is nothing we can do
\nBut watch the jungle wither
