\nJust around that bend
\nA harvest celebration

Leaves were falling all around
\nThe blush the flush the scarlet rush
\nA hot and firery end
\nShe, red-haired rose coloured glasses
\nDress of fuchsia hue
\nWe walked together often there
\nWhen our love was true<\/p>\n
Just visualise her beauty
\nHer acuity for she
\nCalled me to attention
\nSo engrossed and free
\nTo feel the strong emphatic wealth
\nOf colour all around
\nNever muted or discreet
\nShe just lit up the ground<\/p>\n
Her beauty was beyond a dream
\nWherever she did go
\nThis is the path where we first met
\nAnd I love it so
\nShe brightened up my every hour
\nHer auric veil complete
\nWith so much understanding
\nBut she loved eating meat<\/p>\n
And I yes was a vegan
\nHad been that way for years
\nEverytime I walked with her
\nI recollect her tears
\nShe knew how much i loved to be
\nOn that very bend
\nShe Realised we couldnt be together
\nThat it must end<\/p>\n
And it did
\nThough i still go back down the path
\nHoping she might
\nhave become a vegan
