Lawrence Alma-Tadema
\nhailed from Holland
\nbut settled here in
\nEngland, and became
\nan excellent draughtsmen
\nand a top notch painter
\nwhen his father died he was
\n4 years old some claim
\nin fact his mother
\nthought that
\ndrawing would be useful
\nfor all the children
\nso it turned out to be
\nbut they wanted Lawrence to become
\na lawyer
\nbut he just went and painted beautifully<\/p>\n
in 1851 when he was only 15 years
\nhe got some consumptive illness
\nand of course his mother’s tears
\nwho encouraged him to paint and
\njust imagined soon
\nhe’d die but he enjoyed life so
\nthat he banished those sick fears
\nand in fact became a painter really of repute
\nhe really painted beautifully
\nas his painting seemed to suit
\nmany many artists loved his work
\nhe inspired, John William Waterhouse
\nI hear
\nhe truthfully was fired up it was stunning
\nwhich brought its share of satisfaction and
\nhe died in fact in Germany at 76

\nhe certainly painted very well
