Realness actuality
\nAttested and how it should be
\nFlesh and blood the wolves are there
\nSucking in the fresh cold air
\nRomping through the tall high grass
\nThese animals seem to outclass
\nSo much substance in their gait
\nPhysical and yet sedate<\/p>\n
Related to each other they
\nConnected in that honest way
\nTheir kinship their affinity
\nJust watching them well you can see
\nThe relevance the actual thread
\nSuch predators how they seem led
\nA tribalism from their soul
\nA complete family in control<\/p>\n
A genuineness the real thing
\nThey look the same and so they bring
\nAn honest picture to the scene
\nThis wondrous pack amongst the green
\nA peacefulness creatively
\nInventive originality
\nChampions in every way
\nWorking through the given day<\/p>\n
A shot is heard a scattering
\nA confrontation a battering
\nA world of difference in a trice
\nHunters hiding roll the dice
\nThe bickering wrangling dissonance
\nNothing ever done by chance
\nHostile and antagonistic
\nReally it is so sadistic<\/p>\n
The wholeness the integrity
\nReally becomes fragmentary
\nDisharmony is what we see
\nUnhinged a force that shouldn’t be
\nThe influence the ancestry
\nThe pack in turmoil for a while
\nFinding it hard to reconcile<\/p>\n
Such a loss the apex male
\nGunned down on a vital trail
\nBy some vandal with a gun
\nWho doesn’t know what he has done
\nAn executioner his sin
\nHis destructiveness he didn’t win
\nAny hearts, his severity
\nHis heavy hand so violently<\/p>\n
Lacked vision clearly hunters they
\nAre unthinking of the light of day
\nIts indistinct what they can see
\nAnd how they think it seems to me
\nNo imagination no acuity
\nAn unawareness blinkered they be
\nMyopic and confused alas
