Logging opens up space
\nIt casts our minds back where
\nThe forests rampant in its green
\nSeemed to attack despair
\nEvery inch of every where
\nWas created and achieved
\na balance and Gaia was there
\nAnd I just felt relieved<\/p>\n
But then mighty machinery
\nDinosaurs of steel
\nCame Crashing through the undergrowth
\nAnd Quickly did reveal
\nSpace, a loss of foliage
\nContempt for mother earth
\nWho really had the where for all
\nAnd the long standing worth<\/p>\n
The oxygen amassing
\nGreat lungs the planet knew
\nMillions of animals came to \u0175eep
\nAs the mighty screw
\nTwisted through humanity
\nAnd tore the greeenery
\nAnimals ran everywhere
\nThats what the desperate do<\/p>\n
What is it we are doing
\nPalm oil makes big bucks
\nIndonesia and Malaysia
\nWhat they do it sucks !
\nThe myriad of tree life
\nThe culture all can smell
\nAnd when the forest is no more
\nOf course we have got HELL<\/p>\n
And what do they do with all
\nThe timber
\nShip it overseas
\nIt will be for decking
\nThe commoners to please
\nSo Mrs Smythe’s new shoes
\nWill not get muddy, and she will
\nPossibly wear them more than once
\nBut really not until<\/p>\n
Their worn out thats not what she does
\nShe just give them away
\nThis is the new society
\nWhere everyone can pay
\nThe indigenous the animals
