{"id":34004,"date":"2017-09-20T12:12:24","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T12:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=34004"},"modified":"2017-09-20T12:12:24","modified_gmt":"2017-09-20T12:12:24","slug":"yu-chi-tang-or-sharks-fin-soup-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2017\/09\/yu-chi-tang-or-sharks-fin-soup-2\/","title":{"rendered":"YU chi tang or Sharks Fin soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A gelatinious texture a tasteless bowl of stew<br \/>\nFrom the cartilaginous dorsal or pectoral fins<br \/>\nWe do<br \/>\nGo against createdness and 400 hundred millions years<br \/>\nOf the truest eco systems adding to the fears<br \/>\nOf unbalancing the oceans with our annual slaughtering<br \/>\nFor the so called sharks fin soup idea<br \/>\nThat to our tables bring<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate in torture finning it is called<br \/>\nSlicing off the fins of sharks who then it seems are hauled<br \/>\nBack into the ocean to suffocate below<br \/>\nA baseless groundless gesture which many do not know<br \/>\nThe cruelty the arrogance the ignorance of man<br \/>\nHis hollowness his enmity who could be his fan<br \/>\nThis ancient dish created thousands of years ago<br \/>\nWhen mercury and PCB&#8217;s were really very low<br \/>\nNow the threats of poisoning are very very high<br \/>\nSterility in men and dementia it is high<br \/>\nWe have to wake up to the cost we cause to those who feel<br \/>\nA show of wealth is evident for now its very real<\/p>\n<p>Sharks are being decimated all around the world<br \/>\nKey predators their slaughter really we have hurled<br \/>\nOur vast act of defiance into the melting pot<br \/>\nOur brazenness is insulting, and the outcome now is not<br \/>\nTo realise our error our belligerent display<br \/>\nBut to carry on this killing spree every single day<br \/>\nReally tens of millions are wiped out and we know<br \/>\nThe oceans are now dying there is no ebb and flow<br \/>\nNutritionally the so called soup is but  a watery stew<br \/>\nInflated by the advertising hype so the clueless who<br \/>\nImagine they are part of something wonderful and they<br \/>\nWill benefit from its purchase which is rubbish I can say<\/p>\n<p>We truly have to understand the reasons why we source<br \/>\nOur food and why the natural world creates a real life force<br \/>\nSharks need fins its obvious whereas for man now we<br \/>\nMust be grateful for existence and really try to be<br \/>\nAppreciative and indebted to the creatures in the sea<br \/>\nNot waste them for some ancient soup from the SONG Dynasty<br \/>\nWe really are unmindful of the true value of the shark<br \/>\nGrudgingly we murder it a soul that makes its mark<br \/>\nWe look a gift horse in the mouth and slaughter it at will<br \/>\nAnd suffer for our arrogance as our own blood we spill<\/p>\n<p>Those based around the snobbery are culpable and they<br \/>\nMust realise their wickedness when they trespass far away<br \/>\nThe injustice of each moment the outrage that they cause<br \/>\nIts unfitting and its vulgar and we really have to pause<br \/>\nRealise the terror we inflict upon the shark<br \/>\nIts iniquitous behaviour really it is dark<br \/>\nIt discriminates and ofcourse we pay a price thats very high<br \/>\nFor not only millions of sharks out there but some consumers die<\/p>\n<p>And truly its for nothing no food value at all<br \/>\nJust the chicken and the vegetables really it does gall<br \/>\nAny thinking person to see these deaths and pain<br \/>\nFor snobbishness and contempt and the  purest  disdain<br \/>\nBlack marketeers and the mafia for them its very clear<br \/>\nTake advatage of you all and just stifle the fear<br \/>\nOut of your minds completely but listen to me will you<br \/>\nStop this pointless slaughter whatever else you do<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A gelatinious texture a tasteless bowl of stew From the cartilaginous dorsal or pectoral fins We do Go against createdness and 400 hundred millions years Of the truest eco systems adding to the fears Of unbalancing the oceans with our &hellip;
