\nCould take them down and rapidly
\nExplosive to the core
\nForcible and brutal
\nSo designed for war<\/p>\n
They possess lethal aggression
\nAnd a liability
\nA mightiness beyond their age
\nA superiority
\nAn ableness an faculties
\nOf Electromotive force
\nIrrestible heart strength
\nJust a matter of course<\/p>\n
A wildness like no other
\nSocially adept
\nPathfinders seen as leaders
\nTheir confidence is swept
\nUp into emotion a mistrust that remains
\nA fundamental principle
\nEncircling their brains<\/p>\n
Lindsay used his patience
\nAnd an understanding he
\nHad for the Cape Buffalo
\nUsed his personality
\nAnd His energy
\nTo get into their soul
\nTo observe their inner being

\nLindsays farm was up and running
\nReally it had to pay<\/p>\n
Before the calves were thought about
\nHe had bank rolled a lot
\n100,000 dollars yes paid it on the spot
\nWet noses and those great big horns
\nBearded too lets say
\nMutual trust was what he wanted
\nAnd getting more each day<\/p>\n
He needed interaction
\nAnd learned from them each day
\nAn energetic level a sixth sense so to say

\nRemaining sub servient too
\nEvery single Buffalo
\nWho stood there good and true<\/p>\n
He put his weight down on them
\nThey liked his tactile stance
\nHe scratched their tails and unmatted them

\nThats where they had gone<\/p>\n
Then the Jerseys took a hit
\nFoot and mouth appeared
\nLesions clearly this was it
\nIts what all farmers feared
\nEvery jersey separated
\nAnd put down to die
\nThat really struck us through
\nOur losses
\nWere real high<\/p>\n
Stress causes a compromise
\nAnd pressure does effect
\nKeeping the calves with their mothers
\nWas how they did elect
\nDespite risks of infection
\nAccross habitation they
\nGiven a stress free life
\nImproved them day on day<\/p>\n
Within their rumination
\nTheir vitalism wore
\nAn intuition a reasoning
\nThey pondered more and more
\nEngrossed in admiration
\nAbsorbed and preoccupied
\nTheir enquiring minds were seeking
\nOut what others had denied<\/p>\n
Unbiased and dispassionate
\nSound judgement all the way
\nRepecting their acumen
\nThey sagaciously display
\nEnlightened beings clearly
\nAble to think things through
\nThey work with trust
\nAnd thus the thrust
