\nTorn from its bed
\nFrom it family its dreams
\nSquashed in so many ways
\nTaken from thailand

\nA land of concrete
\nWhere biting steel bars
\nWhere Tokyo’s elite
\nCame to throw food at her
\nA beautiful night
\nTheir sleight of hand
\nJust couldnt be right<\/p>\n
Utter and dire boredom
\nGawped at each day
\nThis glotious female
\nHas been made to pay
\nWhat does japan know
\nHer anguish her hell
\nHer sorrow and grief
\nIn this miserable cell<\/p>\n
Dismayed and tormented
\nNeglected all day
\nAngst-ridden with loneliness
\nShe’s made to pay
\nFor the arrogant stance

\nZoo’s are an anathema

Plagued by the boredom
\nEnduring the pain
\nThe terrible memories
\nDrive her insane
\nFor 44 years sge has wept everyday

Weeping and wailing
\nTears often on view
\nOn these concrete slabs
\nShe must walk very few
\nBig heavy animals can stand this pain

Where is the compassion

\nThe humdrum the lean
\nTimes this poor elephant had to endure
